Part 2 picks up right where the sparks left off. In Part 1, we followed Victoria Voxxx and her band as they stormed into their second Fremont Street Experience appearance with the kind of fire that doesn’t just warm up a crowd—it redefines the temperature of the night. Their set cracked open the evening, igniting the First Street Stage and priming thousands of locals and tourists for the next wave of Vegas-born rock energy. Now, with the fuse lit and the crowd already burning hot, Part 2 dives into how the Fremont Street Experience went full local‑music mode as Count’s 77 stepped in, to spread the fire even hotter!

Fifteen years in the making, and Count’s 77 finally roared onto the Fremont Street Experience for their long‑awaited debut—and they didn’t waste a single second. The hometown rockers hit the First Street Stage like a runaway freight train, diving straight into a two‑hour set that gave the thousands of locals and visitors packed under the canopy far more than they ever expected. Count's 77 originals lit the night—"Summer of ’77" hit me right in the chest—and the covers? Forget about it." I’m A Man" and "Out Go the Lights" were absolute knockouts, the kind of performances that remind you why this band has toured the country with blazing reviews, and why they headline Sturgis every August like the American rock institution they are.
"We're An American Band" fits Count's 77 so well!

Danny “Count” Koker is a hard‑driving frontman with a voice that hits like a power chord through a loud amp—strong, gritty, and impossible to ignore. He brings big‑energy stage presence, the kind that pulls the whole band into gear and keeps the crowd locked in from the first note to the band's final encore!
Stoney Curtis—Wildman, alien, six‑string sorcerer—tore through solos that felt like they were bending time, peeling open the night with riffs so sharp they could’ve sliced the Fremont canopy in half.
John Zito kept the rhythm tight with his blues‑driven swagger, locking into the groove like a road‑worn riff machine and laying down the kind of pocket that makes the whole band hit harder.
Barry Barnes hammered the low end like a man possessed, driving the groove with chest‑thumping bass runs that hit like a dropped‑D thunderclap.
Shon McKee punished the drums with glorious precision, locking into the pocket with machine‑tight timing and dropping fills that hit like tom‑loaded thunder.
And if you haven’t heard their new release "Sin City Boogie Man", you’re missing one of the rawk‑iest tracks to come out of Vegas in years.
After a decade and a half of building their legend, Count’s 77 finally took over Fremont Street on Friday night —and the city will be talking about this one for a long, long time!
{My Take}
Count’s 77 didn’t just make their Fremont Street Experience debut—they claimed it like a stage they were born to own. Fifteen years of grinding, touring, headlining, and building a loyal American‑made following all funneled into one explosive night under the canopy, and the payoff was undeniable.
This was a hometown victory lap wrapped in pure rock‑and‑roll adrenaline, delivered by a band that never forgot where they came from and never stopped pushing forward. If this first appearance is any sign of what’s next, Fremont better reinforce the stage—because Count’s 77 isn’t done making Vegas shake, rattle, and roll!
